How to Dye Lax Mesh

Lax mesh is a type of nylon mesh used for stringing lacrosse sticks. Although it is available in a wide range of colors, you can also dye white mesh with acid dyes. Any lacrosse mesh made of 100-percent nylon will respond to immersion dyeing in simmering water. Although their name might imply toxicity, the only acid required is plain white vinegar. Bright vivid acid dyes are available in some craft stores and from multiple online retailers.Difficulty:ModerateInstructions Things You'll Need
Acid dye powder
Synthrapol detergent
White vinegar
Small Pyrex bowl
Large cooking pot
Measuring cup
Measuring spoon
Fill a sink with 2.5-gallons of hot water

How do I use cv::remap with forward mesh, not reverse mesh, to warp images?
I have a mesh of, say, 11 x 11 vertexes. The idea is that every point(vertex) holds the normalized floating-point position of that pixel in the warped image. E.g. if I want to stretch the upper left edge, I write in the first vertex (-0.1, -0.1).
I have the grid, but not the image warping function. cv::remap does exactly that ... but in the reverse order - the mesh "says" which pixel neighborhoods to map to a regular grid on the output.
Is there a standard way in OpenCV to handle reverse warping? Can I easily transform the mesh or use another function? I am using OpenCV and Boost, but any free library/tool that does that will work for me.

3D Sphereical Terrain with an 8 mesh sphere. The edges of the mesh are obvioulsy seen and I'm not sure why
I'm working in Unity3D, but my issue is with 3D meshes. I'm hoping someone here can help or point me in the right direction.
I have 2 version of code, http://www.pasteit4me.com/695002 (old) and http://www.pasteit4me.com/690003 (new). The old code, makes a single mesh sphere and creates a terrain on it. The new code makes an 8 mesh sphere and creates a terrain on it.
On the new version the edges of the meshes are obviously seen and I'm not sure why. It looks like the edges are adjusted no much, almost 2-3 times more than they should have been. GenerateB() in the old code and Generate() in the new code creates the sphere. MakeTerrain() in both crea

Matlab : Conversion of Triangular mesh to Regular (Square) Mesh
mI currently possess a triangular mesh model of a heart that is loaded into Matlab for further manipulation. The current problem is the that I require a regular (square) mesh model of the heart in order to perform proper texture mapping of an image. Can anyone provide a function or even another program that can convert the current TRIANGULAR mesh model to a regular SQUARE model? Thank you :)

How to normalize a mesh into -1 to 1, then revert from normalized mesh to original one?
I have a mesh model in X, Y, Z format. Lets say.
Points *P;

In first step, I want to normalize this mesh into (-1, -1, -1) to (1, 1, 1).
Here normalize means to fit this mesh into a box of (-1, -1, -1) to (1, 1, 1).
then after that I do some processing to normalized mesh, finally i want to revert the dimensions to similar with the original mesh.
step-1:
P = Original Mesh dimensions;
step-2:
nP = Normalize(P); // from (-1, -1, -1) to (1, 1, 1)
step-3:
cnP = do something with (nP), number of vertices has increased or dec

Mesh Opacity issue when the mesh is invisible
I have created a jsfiddle [ http://jsfiddle.net/georgeneil/cfrsj/5/ ] to demo the issue.
The scene have a red cube and a number of particle inside that cube. Here the steps to reproduce the issue.
1) Set the cube as invisible by unchecking the visible checkbox in the control pannel.
2) Rotate the cube
3) Increase the opacity via the opacity control in the pannel
4) Set the cube as visible.
Now the cube would have become completely opaque. I have observed that the issue is not consistent but used to occur most of the time for me.
Is this a bug in the A

Is Fiber Mesh Better Than Wire Mesh for Concrete?
Concrete can shrink or lose volume as it loses moisture. The extent of this shrinkage depends on the concrete mix and the ratio between different ingredients. Shrinkage can potentially result in cracking. Fiber and wire mesh both help to deal with the problems created by this shrinkage cracking, although they do so in different ways. Wire MeshControl joints are pre-selected cracks in the concrete. By determining where the cracks will occur in advance, builders can minimize the damage shrinkage cracking might otherwise cause. Wire mesh enables builders to put the control joints farther apart than they would otherwise. Excessively wide spacing for control joints permits shrinkage cracks to

How to Turn Soft Mesh Into Hard Mesh
Most lacrosse sticks have pockets made of mesh. Although mesh is durable, if it's too soft it wears and shrinks with use. A harder mesh produces harder shots, but if it's too hard, it's difficult to cradle the ball. Therefore, when you're hardening your pocket mesh, do it gradually until you've reached your desired feel.Difficulty:Moderately EasyInstructions Things You'll Need
Bucket
Table salt
Stir stick
Spray paint
Fill a bucket with cool water. Use enough water so that your lacrosse pocket is completely submerged in the water.
Add table salt to the water and stir until dissolved. Use about 1 cup salt or until the salt doesn't dissolve anymore.

Displaying mesh using DirectX 9 - Mesh differences
This is my program to display a .x mesh. I am able to display the mesh tiger.x but not able to display ball.x. What is the difference between the two meshes? Is there something I should handle in the code? But I am able to view both the meshes using standard mesh viewers like the one which come with DirectX SDK.
Thanks.

Fiber Mesh Vs. Wire Mesh
When remodeling your home, you may want to use concrete to build a car port or porch. Wire mesh was a popular addition to concrete in order to provide foundational support. As of 2010, however, many companies are switching over to using a fiber mesh in the concrete instead. Fiber MeshSynthetic fibers are added in a recommended dosage into the concrete. These fibers may end up sticking out of the concrete and make it difficult to get the finish on the concrete to look the way you want. However, most fiber mesh will burn off if exposed to U.V. light. After a year, you should not be able to notice them.
Wire MeshWire mesh is a welded metal fabric arranged in a pattern before the concrete

[directx] Mesh on mesh
Hello everybody,
i want to create some kind of robot arm, its need to be very simple,
so i decided to create this from cubes - few of them i want to
transform separetaly from another. I know how to create this cube, how
to transform rotate in different ways - buffers, vertices, meshes. Id
like to use mesh, its the simplest way but i dont know how to create
one mesh on the exact position on another. And somehow stick them
together?
I had an idea like this:
mesh1.DrawSubset(0);
dev.Transform.World = Matrix.Translation(5.0f, 18.0f,
4.0f);
mesh2.DrawSubset(0);
dev.Transform.World = Matrix.Translation(5.0f

How to Fix Mesh
With its light, airy look, mesh (also known as netting or tulle) suits a variety of occasions and settings, from ballerinas' tutus to the hanging over a crib. However, because of its delicate nature, mesh also rips easily. When this happens, you do not necessarily have to replace the mesh object; rather, with a few steps, you can repair the fabric so that it can continue to serve its purpose.Difficulty:ModerateInstructions Things You'll Need
Needle
Thread
Mesh fabric
Fabric glue
Tape measure
Measure the area of mesh that is damaged. A tape measure will work best for this, though you can also use a ruler.
Sew the two sides of damaged mesh together

Q: DX9, VB.NET, Mesh A + Mesh B = Mesh C
-------------English/Englisch----------------------
How is it possible to combine two meshes to a single mesh?
The reason is that I have to show hundreds of small meshes
and the performance of rendering one big mesh with identical
number of vertices is quite better.
(I've tried it out using vertex buffers to make a mesh)
Now I want to take two meshes A and B, which were created with
a 3D software and loaded as *.x-file by the directx loadmesh
function, and put them together to a third mesh C.
(Mesh A + Mesh B = Mesh C, if possible including previous
transformation, materials and texture .)

PHP to Mesh 2 PDF'S Together or not?
I have an already pre-designed PDF, and I would like to fill the PDF with some database information. So I'm curious if I should save the PDF into JPG's and render them out with the data on top of the image and re-create a PDF.
Or is there a way to use the PDF already, and print data into the PDF that is already made?
I am trying to figure out the best solution to generating this type of PDF.
All thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

How to Dye Mesh
Although mesh exists in a variety of materials, it tends to be made of synthetics such as nylon and polyester. Synthetic fibers can be trickier to dye than plant or animal fibers, but it can be done. The process for dyeing mesh is immersion dyeing, and the type of dye required is acid dye. Acid dyes are highly concentrated pigment powders that must be mixed in small batches and added to a vat of simmering water.Difficulty:ModerateInstructions Things You'll Need
Acid dye powder
Large cooking pot
White vinegar
Wooden spoon
Rubber gloves
Textile detergent
Soak the mesh for 30 minutes in a sink full of water with 1/2 tsp. of concentrated textile deter
